Support and privacy
In short: what you record stays on your iPhone. There is no account and no server of our own, the app never uploads your videos anywhere, and the developer can never see them.
Doble Cam Pro records with the iPhone's rear and front (selfie) cameras at the same time. Every recording saves three videos: the combined one (rear on top, selfie below), the rear camera video and the front camera video. They are kept in a private gallery inside the app, which doesn't show up in the Photos app or the Files app.
From that gallery you can watch each recording (combined, rear or front), save the combined video to the Photos app —it goes into the “Doble Cam Pro” album— or delete it. Recordings are deleted from the app's gallery automatically after 7 days, or 14 or 30 if you choose so in Settings; anything you saved to Photos stays there.
The app is available in English, Spanish (Spain) and Latin American Spanish. The first time it uses your iPhone's language, and you can change it in Settings → Language.
Recording with both cameras at once requires an iPhone XS, XR or later (A12 Bionic chip or newer). Earlier models don't allow both cameras to run at the same time. The app is for iPhone only.
Open the recording in the Gallery and tap “Save the combined video to Photos”. The combined video goes into the Photos app, in the “Doble Cam Pro” album, and no longer depends on the app. The separate rear and front videos can only be watched inside the app.
Because of auto-delete: after the number of days chosen in Settings (7 by default), the recording is deleted from the app's gallery even if you saved it; the copy in Photos is not touched. In the gallery each recording shows how many days it has left, or “Saved” if you already saved it.
Tap Pro on the home screen and then “Restore Purchases”, using the same Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is a one-time purchase: it is not a subscription and it doesn't expire.
In the free version, in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Settings → Ad privacy options opens Google's consent form again. Apple's tracking permission can be changed in the iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your videos are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app. The app has no server of its own and no accounts, and it never uploads your recordings anywhere. Like the rest of your apps' data, the app's gallery is included in your iPhone backup (iCloud or your computer) if you have backups turned on.
Two third-party services are built into the app, each for one specific purpose:
Neither is linked to your name, your email or any account, because the app has no accounts. Your videos are not shared with either of them.
Camera — to record with both cameras.Microphone — to record sound along with the video.Photos — only when you save a recording: to find or create the “Doble Cam Pro” album and save the combined video in it. The app doesn't read your photos or videos.Tracking (ATT) — free version only, to personalize ads. If you decline, ads still appear, not personalized. The app doesn't ask for location, contacts, Bluetooth or notifications.
Each recording can be deleted from its own screen (Delete), and all of them at once from Settings → “Delete all recordings”. Deleting the app removes everything in its gallery; anything you saved to Photos stays there. There are no accounts, so there is no account to delete.
This is a general-purpose camera app and it is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age.
