Support and privacy
In short: the game doesn't ask for or keep any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up and no server of ours, and the whole game plays offline. The only things that go online are the ads in the free version (Google AdMob) and the purchase check (RevenueCat).
Paper Spurs is a cut-paper platformer. A storm scatters the hens from their farm, and you cross four worlds —the forest, the long road, the farm and the henhouse— rescuing flockmates and beating the boss waiting at the end of every level. You lead a squad of up to three hens: one in front and two behind who help out on their own.
The game is free and complete: all 24 levels, all 7 hens, the upgrades and the four endings can be played without paying. There is a single one-time purchase, "No ads" (the store shows the price for your country), that does one thing only: remove the ads. It gives no levels, no hens and no advantages, and there is nothing else to buy.
The game is in Spanish (Spain), Latin American Spanish and English. You pick the language the first time you open the game and can change it any time in Settings (on the title screen or in the pause menu).
No personal data. No name, no email, no account. The game doesn't read your contacts, location or photos.
Your progress —levels cleared, corn and eggs, upgrades, language, volume and button layout— is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded or synced anywhere. You can erase it in the game with Choose level → Start over, and it is also erased when you delete the game.
The free version shows Google AdMob ads:
The first time you open the game, and before any ad is requested, this happens, in this order:
If you allow it, AdMob may use the device's advertising identifier to personalise and measure ads; if you don't, ads still show, but not personalised or limited to what your choice allows. Either way Google receives technical device data such as the IP address. Saying no is perfectly fine: the game works exactly the same.
Changing your choice: in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the "Ad privacy options" button in the game's Settings (on the title screen or in the pause menu) reopens Google's form so you can change your choice; from then on, ads follow your new choice. Tracking permission is changed in iPhone or iPad Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. The game's Settings also link to this page.
| Service | What for |
|---|---|
| Google AdMob and its consent form | The ads in the free version, as described above. Not used once you buy "No ads". |
| RevenueCat + Apple / Google (purchases) | Checks with the store whether you bought "No ads". It receives an anonymous app identifier and the Apple or Google purchase receipt; it doesn't receive your name or email. |
No Firebase, no usage analytics, no social networks and no other services.
The game asks for no system permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications. The only prompt is Apple's tracking prompt described above.
"No ads" is a one-time payment, not a subscription: it never renews and nothing else is charged. You buy it with the "No ads" button on the title screen, and it removes the banner and the full-screen ads. If you change devices or reinstall the game, Restore purchase (in Settings) brings it back without paying again.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us: request them at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google Play. If you get a refund, the ads come back.
The game is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children. There is no chat, no content from other players and no way to communicate inside the game.
